We've got a new flavor, and it's exclusively available in bottles and on tap at Whole Foods Market as part of participation in their Local Producer Loan Program which seeds small artisan producers with low interest loans.
Buchi Seed is the first of three brews in our new Intentional Series, flavors crafted to speak the shared values of our community into reality. We've explained the intention behind each flavor on the label, and are donating 5 cents from each bottle sold to a social profit (non-profit) partner we believe in.
Intention: Food security starts with the right to sow true seed and harvest non gmo food. Buchi Seed grows the groundswell around saving and sharing non gmo, heirloom, and open pollinated seeds native to our North American bioregions.
To make this intention a reality, we're donating 5 cents from each bottle sold to Groundswell International, a global partnership of civil society organizations, NGOs and resource people in Africa, Latin America and Asia strengthening rural communities by creating and spreading healthy food and farming systems from the bottom up with seeds. The money from Buchi Seed will be earmarked to help Groundswell start their first localized seed banks in the United States.
